I was raised in upstate New York in a family where my father, uncles and great uncles built and fixed things. I always enjoyed building things with them, but I didn't realize how satisfying it could be until I started woodworking. I moved to Florida in early 2012 and began spending time with my Uncle Jim at his workshop. I became absorbed in the craft almost immediately. He taught me the foundations of woodworking, tool use and maintenance, while I devoured numerous books, magazines, podcasts and videos to further expand my knowledge of the practices and methods of the trade.

Since the very beginning of this journey, expanding my techniques and capabilities as a woodworker became my primary focus. I've put in the proverbial 10,000 hours in the workshop and devoted countless to more reading, listening and watching in an effort to hone my skills.

People have been woodworking out of necessity and for enjoyment for thousands of years, yet it is still evolving. The use of technology has changed the way we are able to design and build today. I employ design software and a CNC machine to create the most functional and attractive pieces possible. I continue to learn, inspired by the work of others and eager to gain more knowledge and expertise.  I'm always refining and improving my techniques to produce appealing and functional pieces as efficiently as possible.

I work with clients step by step from design to delivery to produce pieces that fit their functional needs and aesthetic preferences.  My aim is to produce heirloom quality work; a beautiful, well-built piece of furniture will last for generations.

Let me know what I can create for you!
